  • You do a 'trial' or test procedure first.

  • Adjustable pain coverage can adapt over time.

  • The battery can last up to 10 years.

  • The implant is MRI compatible.

  • The procedure is fully reversible.

Who is a candidate for this procedure?

  • Patients that have not improved with prior surgery.

  • Patients that are not candidates for 'open' surgery.

What is the process like?

Only Seaside Spine offers fully asleep SCS testing (trial) done under general anesthesia at our surgery center. Also, our neurosurgeons do the trial and the permanent implant - so no need to coordinate between multiple offices.

Step 1: Test trial to measure pain relief.

Step 2: Permanent Implant w/Paddle or w/Leads
